Apollon is set to hold its final training session on Dutch soil today (July 13), wrapping up the main phase of its preseason preparations.

The “blue-and-whites” are packing their bags for Cyprus, having made a positive impression with a 3-0 record in their friendly matches against Roda Raalte (1-0), Utrecht (1-0), and Go Ahead Eagles (3-0).

Hernán Lozada experimented with various tactical approaches, gave playing time to several players, and drew useful conclusions ahead of the official matches.

With the Limassol team’s return to their… home base, their preseason preparations will enter the final stretch. The final warm-up match is scheduled for July 16 against AEK (7:30 p.m.) at the “Alphamega Stadium.”

In this match, the Spanish coach is expected to field the starting lineup he will also use in the second qualifying round of the Conference League, where, barring any surprises, they will face Dila Gori.

The Georgians have laid a solid foundation for advancing, having defeated Virtus 3-1 in the first leg. The second leg will take place on Thursday (July 16, 10:00 p.m.).
