Jude Bellingham was the star of England’s resounding 7-0 victory over Croatia, scoring a goal and setting up three more for his teammates.
A few hours after the game, his former Real Madrid teammate Toni Kroos spoke highly of the 23-year-old, describing him as the best midfielder in the world when he’s in top form.

“For me, Bellingham is one of the most complete midfielders. When he’s in top form, he’s the best midfielder in the world—or he certainly has the potential to become one,” Kroos said.
Bellingham and Kroos played together at Real Madrid during the 2022–23 season, winning both the league title and the Champions League.
