New… developments from Spain regarding the future of Azedine Ounai and whether or not he will transfer from Girona to Panathinaikos.

This is because journalist Iván Kiros, who covers Catalan sports, reported that Panathinaikos’ latest offer for the Moroccan midfielder was rejected!

Girona has done the same in the case of Eindhoven, meaning that Ounai will remain with the Spanish team as things stand…

“Despite the growing wave of misinformation, Girona rejected Panathinaikos’ latest offer yesterday, which was well above what the club itself is asking for—around 20 million euros. The offer from PSV Eindhoven had also been rejected a few days ago, and no counteroffer was made. For now, nothing,” he said.

Despite the false reports circulating, Girona FC rejected Panathinaikos’ latest offer yesterday, which fell well short of what GFC is demanding—around 20M€.

Girona FC has not finalized ANY deal with any club regarding Azz Ounahi.
In recent hours, Panathinaikos—which is offering him the highest salary in Greece—and PSV Eindhoven have stepped up their efforts.
Ajax, which had previously reached a contractual agreement with the Moroccan player, has withdrawn from the bidding.
