Once again, Mikel Arteta had nothing but praise for Joli.
And how could he not, after another outstanding performance in Arsenal’s match against Coventry, in which the Greek star was the most valuable player of the game, contributing to his team’s first two goalsfor his team and also had chances to score.
“He’s been incredible ever since he joined the team. He fit right in. He’s a talented soccer player. You can see it in the crowd’s reaction when he has the ball at his feet and how much they love him. He’s a player who will bring something different to our left side. In every match, he’ll either have an assist or a goal. He’s a well-rounded player,” said the manager of the English champions at the press conference in response to a question he was asked.

“I love that a player who’s only been with us for a few weeks brings that kind of energy every time he has the ball, and I think he’s earned it. I think the way he’s played in the last few games has been amazing. What he brings as a player—he’s so direct, consistently on target, and he wants to make things happen. He has an incredible variety of moves in the final 30 meters to make the right decisions, even when the spaces are very tight. I’m really impressed with him,” he said.
