The statement: “Last night, our team’s management hosted a dinner for media representatives in Larnaca.
Members of the management, coaching staff, and technical staff had the opportunity to exchange views with journalists from all media outlets who responded to our invitation, regarding Anorthosis, the challenges, and the future of the team.
“I am at Anorthosis for reasons far greater than soccer. For reasons that concern the history of our region, Famagusta, and future generations.
Anorthosis has experienced one of the greatest crises in its history. It was a matter of survival, and it was our duty to step up to this major challenge,” said President Christos Marangos.
As he explained, 2 million euros have recently been paid to settle old debts, and another million euros is scheduled to be paid in the very near future.
“We are paying off the debts of the past and building a new Anorthosis. We are modernizing the Club, upgrading our facilities, and staffing all departments.
Our mission is clear. The financial restructuring of the Club, so that we can restore Anorthosis to the place its history demands. To where its loyal fans want it to be, without compromise,” emphasized Christos Marangos.”
