Arsenal’s problems continue, with Mikel Arteta watching his injury list grow, just as the team is trying to find its rhythm and cope with the increased demands of competition upon its return to action following the long international break.
Following the absences of Christos Tzolis and William Saliba, the Spanish coach is now faced with two more significant challenges, as he will be unable to count on either Martin Thubimendi or Piero Incapie, at least until their health status becomes clear.
Since neither player saw much action in the match against Leeds (2-1), they participated in a light training session after the game. However, that’s where the bad news came from, as both the Spanish midfielder and the Ecuadorian defender sustained injuries. Their conditions are expected to be reevaluated in the coming days to determine when they might return to action.
