Mike James will continue his career with a Turkish team, choosing to sign a one-plus-one-year contract with Anadolu Efes.

“We’ve signed a 1+1-year contract with Mike James, one of the iconic players in European basketball and the 2024 EuroLeague MVP. In addition to the many league and cup titles he has won throughout his career, Mike James also had the honor of being named to the list of the “25 Greatest Players in EuroLeague History” in 2025. “We welcome him,” the Turkish team stated in its announcement.
James, as we recall, had reached an agreement with Barcelona, but the Spanish team ultimately did not honor that agreement, choosing not to proceed with signing the contract.
