David Alaba is set to begin a new chapter in his illustrious career, with Udinese very close to signing him.
As Fabrizio Romano revealed, the Italian club has reached a verbal agreement with the 34-year-old Austrian, who is a free agent following his departure from Real Madrid.
Now, only a few minor details remain to finalize his move to Serie A.
Alaba left Madrid after five years, having joined the “Merengues” in the summer of 2021 as a free agent from Bayern Munich.
With Real Madrid, he made 131 appearances and won a total of 11 titles, including two Champions League titles and two Spanish league championships.
In recent years, he has struggled with injuries, which have limited his playing time. Now, at 34, he is preparing for the next challenge of his career, with Udinese just a breath away from a major signing.
