Barcelona has gotten off to a sensational start in LaLiga, as in addition to four wins in as many matches, the team has also put up impressive offensive numbers.
Hans Flick’s team has already scored 17 goals (0-5 against Elche, 2-0 against Bilbao, 5-2 against Rayo Vallecano, and 0-5 against Valencia), a tally that ranks as the third-highest in the club’s history after the first four matchdays. The only seasons in which it scored more were 1950–51 (21 goals) and 1949–50 (19 goals).
At the same time, its +15 goal difference (17 scored, 2 conceded) is the best in its history, surpassing the +14 it had in the 1957–58 season (17 for, 3 against).
