A problem for Barcelona ahead of the start of the new season, as Tosan Ebbouomouan suffered an injury to his left shoulder and will need to undergo a rehabilitation program.
The 25-year-old forward was injured on Sunday while playing for the Great Britain national team; the Catalan club announced that he suffered a subluxation of his left shoulder. Ebbouomouan will begin treatment immediately, and his condition will be reevaluated in about three weeks.
The British player is one of Barcelona’s new signings, having signed a two-year contract this past summer. He comes off two seasons playing in both the NBA and the G League, having played for the Detroit Pistons, the Memphis Grizzlies, the Los Angeles Clippers, the Brooklyn Nets, the New York Knicks, and the Charlotte Hornets.
In total, he has made 50 NBA appearances, averaging 7.4 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 1.4 assists, while in the G League he was even more productive, averaging 17.8 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 3.4 assists per game.
