Jude Bellingham sent a message of unity and faith that England will one day win a major title following the loss to Argentina in the semifinals of the World Cup.World Cup semifinals.
Here’s what he said
“It was hard to find the right words to describe what we went through against Argentina and over the past few weeks, but this message from our coach in Kansas really touches the heart,”, the international midfielder wrote on Instagram, adding: “Thank you for the incredible support from our homeland and to those who spent their own money to travel to the United States to support us. Let’s not let the unity and love we’ve seen in our country end with this journey. When we’re united, we can achieve great things. And we will! I love you all.”
In fact, the Real Madrid star shared a poem by the England team bus driver, Michael Chandler.
“The Lion does not boast loudly, nor does he seek the praise of the crowd.
He knows that the roar that shakes the night is born when fear meets strength.
The battle is not only against the enemy. The truest playing field is unknown.
Before a pass is executed with grace, the heart must have won its own battle.
Because strength is more than just speed, or driving every spike firmly into place.
Live with an iron will, so you can climb the steepest hill once again.
The body grows weary. Your lungs are strained. Your legs feel heavy during the race.
Yet, unshakable minds refuse to give in and lift up the weary.
Endurance is a faithful friend who walks beside you until the very end.
While others succumb to the pain, it whispers, “Hold your ground.”
The shrewd mind surpasses the strong one, which runs frantically all day long.
A patient stride, a measured step, will forever defeat reckless haste.
The hawk may survey the field from above; the lion triumphs through unwavering love.
From every move, from every struggle, where many minds unite.
Because tactics aren’t hidden tricks, but wisdom honed on the field.
Knowing when to press forward is right, and when self-restraint is the way.
The storm may be raging. The crowd may weep. The scoreboard may refuse to reach the sky.
And yet none of that dominates the spirit whose purpose drives every goal.
No referee can steal your choice. No hostile chant can drown out your voice.
The world may tremble, the night may burn, but your reaction shapes the final outcome.
England had three brilliant lions who did not chase the fleeting light of glory.
Instead, they sought a nobler prize: to reign in the eyes of the people.
They relied on legs forged over the years, on minds tempered by calm. They relied on unyielding hearts, even as the end drew ever closer.
A perfect move, a selfless pass, a moment born of countless efforts. The net snapped, the crowd erupted, and a roar. A thunderous roar swept over friends and foes alike.
Victory belongs to those who master themselves before the battle, thereby earning a greater legacy than those who merely play the game.
The referee blew the whistle, the match ended, and the Three Lions’ mission was complete.
Victory was the result, securing the gold forever. But the greatest triumph, obvious to all, was their serene self-mastery.
For trophies tarnish and crowds fall silent; time itself endures beyond all skill.
But those who rule their hearts and minds leave fear and doubt behind.
So walk the ancient path of the Lion and lift every burden with ease. Face every trial with steadfastness and devotion, letting discipline be your strength.
Because fortune does not favor the loudmouths, nor does it always crown the largest crowd; it often walks alongside those who have won their hardest battle—not on the field under the spotlights, but in the depths of their being, during sleepless nights.
And when the final whistle blows and victory spreads its golden wings, the most authentic roar will be heard: that of a strengthened soul, a confident soul.”
