Shortly after the official announcement of Dimitris Diamantidis’s spectacular return to Panathinaikos BC, Isaac Bonga, who will further strengthen the roster of Zeljko Obradovic’s team.

Upon his arrival at “Eleftherios Venizelos” Airport, the German international made his first remarks as a new member of the “Greens,” stating:

“Many different factors led me to choose Panathinaikos. I had other options, but given Panathinaikos’ history, it was hard to turn down this opportunity.

It’s wonderful that I’ll be playing in front of these fans; I’ve been on teams with incredible support, but it’s wonderful that I’ll also get to experience the atmosphere created by Panathinaikos’s fans.

Zeljko Obradović taught me the finer points of the game. It’s amazing that we’ll be together on a new team. The big goal now is the EuroLeague.”
