Whether it was easy or hard, Manchester City has managed to start the Premier League season with a perfect 3-0 record, despite being a new team with a new coach in the post-Pep Guardiola era.
In the third matchday of the English league, City hosted Coventry and won 1-0, thanks to a goal by the unstoppable, short-haired Erling Haaland, who continues to be a key figure in the “Citizens’” attack.
After the match, the Norwegian admitted that the team is still in a rebuilding phase, but emphasized that he is incredibly excited about the signings that have been made, as he believes they can significantly raise the team’s level of play.
Here is what Erling Haaland said in detail:
“We’re still in a rebuilding phase, but the summer transfer window was truly amazing. Congratulations to the team and its staff for putting this squad together. They’ve brought in fantastic players, as well as great people who fit in perfectly.”
