Hull City continues to strengthen its roster aggressively and is making a particularly interesting transfer move by bringing Robinho Vaz from Roma to England.
According to the latest reports from Italy, the deal has been finalized, and the 19-year-old forward is expected to become a new Hull City player. The deal involves a loan from Roma for 2 million euros, and the agreement includes a buyout clause of 30 million euros.
This is a highly intriguing move by the English club, which is acquiring one of the young players who have already begun to attract attention in European soccer.
Robinho Vaz was born on February 17, 2007, in France; he is 1.85 m tall and plays primarily as a striker. He has represented France’s youth national teams and also has roots in Guinea-Bissau.
His career began in the youth academy of Mantes-la-Jolie, before he moved to Sochaux and then to Marseille. In January 2026, Roma signed him from the French club for 22 million euros, in a move that clearly demonstrated just how highly his talent is regarded.
During the 2025–26 season, he made a total of 33 appearances across all competitions, scoring five goals and providing four assists. In Ligue 1, he made 14 appearances with four goals and two assists, while after his move to Roma, he played 12 times in Serie A, finding the back of the net once.
He also saw playing time in the Champions League and the Europa League, demonstrating that he has already begun to gain experience at the highest level. His speed, physical strength, and ability to move around the box are qualities that have stood out in his play.
At Hull, he will also be reunited with Konstantis Tzolakis, who has made an impressive start to his own tenure with the English club. The Greek goalkeeper was voted the top player of the match against Coventry, delivering yet another outstanding performance.
