Matchday 1 of the Champions League group stage wraps up with six games, four of which have no clear favorite, while in the other two, the home teams have the upper hand in the race for the “three points.”
This is because Manchester United, returning to the competition after the 2023–24 season, hosts first-time participant Sabah from Azerbaijan, while Bayern Munich makes its home debut against Bodø/Glimt.
