Germany will field a lineup with several changes for its final two matches of this Nations League window, with Joshua Kimmich among the players who will not be playing.
Jürgen Klopp had planned from the outset to rotate the squad extensively, having even called up a total of 44 players for these specific matches of the "Nationalmannschaft."
As part of this plan, the German coach decided to sit out the team’s captain, Joshua Kimmich, for the two remaining matches of the international break. Consequently, the Bayern midfielder will not play against either Serbia or Greece at Toumba Stadium.
This decision is part of Klopp’s broader effort to give playing time to different players so he can form a comprehensive assessment ahead of the EURO 2028 qualifiers.
In fact, according to *Kicker*, only six players from the first group will remain available. They are Finn Dammen, Nico Schlotterbeck, Philipp Troi, Yannick Engelhardt, Babassé Konte, and Serge Gnabry.
