Nikola Milutinov will be sidelined for Olympiacos’s game against Zalgiris in Kaunas and the match in Bologna against Virtus, as it was decided that he would not travel with the team due to the tendinitis he’s been dealing with.
“I don’t think we’ll see him in these two games. He’s been dealing with tendinitis, and the medical staff decided he should focus solely on therapy and strength training because he was playing through the pain and couldn’t keep up. Given Valančiūnas’s presence, Milutinov’s absence is significant for us. We’ll try to manage the situation in other ways; we have the speed advantage. “We’ll try to play our game,” said Giorgos Bartzokas as he departed for Lithuania.
