PAOK faces a problem ahead of the match against Atromitos (Sept. 16, 8:00 p.m.) in Peristeri for the second round of the Greek Cup, with Jiri Pavlenka ruled out of the squad.
The “black-and-whites’” goalkeeper felt discomfort in his quadriceps as a result of an injury he sustained in the match against Aris, and was left out of the squad as a precaution. Newly acquired center forward Simon Banza was also not included in the squad.
Meité, Giannoulis, Sarris, and Tsalof remain sidelined as they undergo treatment, while Despodov, Lousé, and Hatzidiakos continued their individual training regimens and were not considered by Alessio Lisi either.
The six Greek players who meet the eligibility requirements for the tournament are Monastirlis, Nikolakoulis, Kosidis, Bataoulas, Mythou, and Hatzidis.
Here is the full PAOK roster: Tsiftsis, Monastirlis, Nikolakoulis, Kenny, Kosidis, Kosta, Elustondo, Michailidis, Bataoulas, Baba, Taylor, Santamaria, Jakic, Zafeiris, Kamara, Ugrecic, Pelkas, Soretire, Tyson, Ali, Zivkovic, Hatzidis, Entiaye, Mythou.
