Diogo Nascimento is returning to Portugal.

After a season with Olympiacos where he didn’t get the playing time he wanted, the Portuguese midfielder will return to his home country.

His loan from Olympiacos to Rio Ave has essentially been finalized and is expected to be made official shortly.

The 24-year-old midfielder was signed last summer by Olympiacos, who paid €4 million to Vizela. He played in 26 matches for the Red-and-Whites, scoring 1 goal and providing 3 assists.
