Roberto De Gerbi referred those with questions about Richarlison’s future at Tottenham to the club’s management. The Brazilian forward, who was left off the Premier League roster, had openly expressed his desire to leave the London club, but was unable to find a new team before the transfer window closed in England. He is now seeking to terminate his contract, as the “Spurs” coach no longer wishes to work with him.
“It’s no longer my problem, but the club’s. I’ve made my position clear, and it’s now up to the club to decide what happens next with him. I have nothing else to say about him,” he emphasized, indicating that, as far as he’s concerned, the chapter on the Brazilian forward is definitively closed.
Last season, Richarlison scored 12 goals, helping Tottenham secure their place in the Premier League.
