Anorthosis has reached an agreement with Nestor El Maestro for him to take the reins of the team!

The 43-year-old coach faces the difficult task of leading the team through one of the toughest periods in its history.

The announcement: “Anorthosis Famagusta announces the start of its collaboration with Nestor El Maestro, who will take over as head coach of our team until May 2028.

The 43-year-old coach holds a UEFA Pro license and has significant experience in European leagues, having successfully managed CSKA Sofia, Sturm Graz, Spartak Trnava, Debrecen, and Al-Taawoun of Saudi Arabia.

During his career, he won the Slovak League title with Spartak Trnava in the 2017–18 season, and assistant coach Nikon El Maestro is also joining the coaching staff alongside him.
