Lamine Yamal was on cloud nine after Spain’s remarkable 2-0 in the World Cup semifinal and their advancement to the final, knowing that he would have the opportunity—as the European champion from two years ago—to become world champion this coming Sunday (July 19).
At the same time, however, despite every reason to be happy, he also had one major cause for serious concern! According to *Vanguardia*, a group of unknown men attempted to break into his home in Barcelona just a few hours after the conclusion of the semifinal against France.
Fortunately for him, his personal security team immediately detected the intruders’ movements and intervened just in time, preventing any harm.
People close to Lamine Yamal alerted the Catalan police, and an investigation is already underway to find the perpetrators. In fact, this was the third attempted burglary in the wider area in recent times.
