It’s a week of… European action and league play for Omonia.
The “Greens” face Celta on Wednesday (September 16, 7:45 p.m.) at GSP Stadium as part of the first matchday of the Europa League group stage. It’s a match in which Henning Berg’s team will aim to pull off an upset, with their fans behind them, against a strong opponent for the perfect… start to this stage of the competition.

Meanwhile, that same week—and more specifically, four days after Sunday (September 20, 7:00 p.m.), the “clover” will host Krasava ENY as part of the fourth matchday of the Cyprus League by Stoiximan.
It will be interesting to see how the Norwegian coach approaches these two games—that is, whether he’ll rotate the lineup or not— since, as a reminder, a three-week break follows this week.
On the playing side, we’d like to remind you that Akintola is ineligible to play since he’s not on the European roster, and the injured Aiting is also out.
