Little Dimitris, who had been battling neuroblastoma, has passed away.

His case had recently received public attention, especially after the €12,500 donation made by Tasos Hatzigiannis.

“Have a safe journey, little Dimitris… I wanted so much to get to know you… To see you in person, talk to you, and tell you how much I wanted you to pull through. Unfortunately, I didn’t make it in time… I may not have met you in person, but I’ll always remember you. Rest in peace, my little one. Stay strong, Mom, and to your family,” the 29-year-old Omonia star wrote on Instagram.
