Viktor Gokeres continues to make history in international soccer, as he became the first player to score in six consecutive UEFA Nations League matches.
The Swedish forward has been putting on spectacular performances for his national team, confirming that he is currently enjoying one of the most productive stretches of his career.
This impressive streak of six matches includes both the final matches of the previous tournament (2024/2025) and the current ones.
Specifically, he closed out the previous tournament season by scoring against Estonia, Slovakia, and Azerbaijan, netting four goals against the latter.
This year, he has continued his scoring streak, finding the back of the net against Romania, Poland, and Bosnia and Herzegovina, bringing his total to 9 goals in the competition.
Alongside his international duties, the 28-year-old striker continues his upward trajectory at the club level with Arsenal, where, alongside Christos Tzolis and Bukayo Saka, he forms the Gunners’ attacking trio.
