Shortly after announcing George Papas, Olympiacos announced yet another return! We’re talking about Bryant Dunston, who signed a one-year contract. The 40-year-old center played for the team from 2013 to 2015 and is returning after 11 years. The American participated in the Piraeus team’s preseason training and will provide additional depth on the front line.
It should be noted that Dunston is married to a Greek woman, former player Anna Kavassila, but has not acquired Greek citizenship. Last season, he played for Armani Milan, averaging 2.9 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 0.7 blocks per game over 17 games, while in the Italian league, over a total of 10 games, she averaged 3.2 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 0.4 blocks.
The announcement:
“Olympiacos BC announces the signing of Bryant Dunston. The American center has signed a one-year contract with our team.
