Another share capital increase is expected at Panathinaikos.
As announced today (September 9) by the “Green” soccer club, an Extraordinary General Meeting will be held at noon on September 30, with the capital increase as the main agenda item, two months after the election of Panathinaikos’ new Board of Directors.
The relevant announcement in detail:
“By decision of the company’s Board of Directors and in accordance with the provisions of the law and the company’s Articles of Incorporation, the Shareholders of the Company are invited to an Extraordinary General Meeting on September 30, 2026, on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. at the Company’s offices located at 13 Pentelis Avenue, Vrilissia, to discuss and vote on the following items on the agenda.
1) Increase in the Company’s share capital and amendment of the corresponding article
of the Articles of Incorporation.
2) Various approvals and announcements.
Each share entitles the holder to one vote.
In the event that a quorum is not achieved in accordance with the law and the Articles of Incorporation, the Shareholders are hereby invited to a Repeat General Meeting, which will take place on October 9, 2026, on Friday at 1:00 p.m. at the company’s headquarters and offices located at 13 Pentelis Avenue, Vrilissia, to discuss and vote on the same agenda items as above without the publication of a new notice.
Shareholders Shareholders wishing to participate in the Extraordinary General Meeting on September 30, 2026, or in its adjourned session on October 9, 2026, must deposit their shares with the Company’s Cashier’s Office, the Deposits and Loans Fund, or any bank in Greece, and submit proof of deposit, as well as any documents authorizing proxies, to the Company’s offices at least five (5) days prior to the date of the Extraordinary General Meeting.”.
