The first reports stated that Ernesto Valverde is at the top of the list and the one most wanted by the team, however, there are also other reports today that add additional coaches to the list, two of whom have ties to Greece and Greek clubs.
Thus, José Luis Mendilibar has been added to the list of potential coaches following his departure from Olympiacos, while Rafa Benítez is also among the candidates.
Both Ernesto Valverde and Rafa Benítez have worked at Valencia in the past with great success.
