An unbelievable finish at Everton’s “home,” with Manchester United watching a big win slip through their fingers in the final second. The “Red Devils” took the lead twice, but Everton scored the equalizer in the 90+6th minute and earned a valuable point with the final score of 2-2.
United started the second half stronger and took the lead in the 46th minute with a stunning long-range shot by Brian Embemo. Everton, however, did not give up and pressed for the equalizer. In the 83rd minute, Tyrique George capitalized on a pass from Hayden Hackney to make it 1-1.

And just when it looked like the match was headed for a draw, Benjamin Sesko stepped up in the 88th minute. Luke Shaw delivered an excellent cross, and the Slovenian forward scored with a powerful header to make it 1–2, temporarily giving United a huge away win.
Michael Carrick’s team, however, played with fire in the final minutes and ultimately got burned. Everton pressed until the very end, and in the sixth minute of stoppage time, Ainsley Maitland-Niles found the back of the net with an unstoppable shot from outside the box, making it 2-2 and sending the stands into a frenzy.
Thus, United were left with the bitter taste of having let a great away victory slip through their fingers, while Everton remained undefeated through the first three matchdays, with one win and two draws.
