Vasilis Charalambopoulos returned to the Greek national team on Saturday (Aug. 29) to be re-evaluated by the medical staff and to get a clearer picture of the progress of his injury.
The international forward had left the friendly match against Poland with a knee injury, but has shown noticeable improvement in recent days. For this reason, it was deemed appropriate for him to undergo a new, detailed examination today by the national team’s doctors.
The coming days are considered particularly important for Charalambopoulos, as it will determine whether he can gradually increase the intensity of his training and be ready to play under Vasilis Spanoulis for the match against Spain.
