Morgan Rogers is now officially the most expensive signing in Chelsea’s history! The London “Blues” announced the signing of the 23-year-old winger from Aston Villa, offering him a contract through 2033.

In fact, this transfer sets a new club record, as it cost the club nearly 138 million euros, surpassing the staggering fee paid to Benfica (121 million euros) to sign Enzo Fernández.

The Englishman—who was also a top target for Arsenal—made 37 appearances for Villa during the recently concluded Premier League season, scoring 10 goals and providing 6 assists, and is currently on England’s World Cup roster, having played in six matches and provided one assist.
