Yiannoulis Larentzakis is leaving Olympiacos as a European and Greek champion in the red-and-white jersey.
After six years together, the two sides are ending their partnership, with “Larry” preparing to move to AEK.
He celebrated three league titles, an equal number of Cups, four Super Cups, and, of course, a EuroLeague title at the OAKA with the Piraeus-based team.
The announcement:
Olympiacos BC announces the termination of its partnership with Giannoulis Larentzakis.
From the summer of 2020, when he first donned the red-and-white jersey, through the end of last season, “Lare” was an integral part of our team, and together we experienced some incredible moments.
The highlight of it all was winning the EuroLeague last season! At the same time, we celebrated together three Greek Championships (2022, 2023, 2025), three Greek Cups (2022, 2023, 2024), and four Greek Super Cups (2022, 2023, 2024, 2025).
“Cobra,” we thank you wholeheartedly for your dedication, commitment, and passion in serving our team all these years.
We wholeheartedly wish you every success in the next chapter of your career!
