Antonín Barak is now officially an APOEL player.
The Czech attacking midfielder, following the “failed negotiations” last July, has finally reached an agreement and signed a contract with the “blue-and-yellows.”
The official announcement: “APOEL FOOTBALL LTD announces a transfer agreement with ACF Fiorentina for the acquisition of footballer Antonín Barák.
The Czech international, who plays in midfield, has had a distinguished career on European pitches. He began his professional career in his home country and subsequently played in Italy’s top division for Udinese, Lecce, Hellas Verona, and Fiorentina.
With Fiorentina, he competed in major European tournaments, including the UEFA Europa Conference League finals, while with the Czech national team he has made a significant number of appearances, representing his country in major international tournaments.
Antonín Barák joins the APOEL family, adding quality, experience, and impressive performances from the highest level of European soccer to our roster.
