The announcement: “Paphos FC announces the signing of Yoram Zague from Paris Saint-Germain; the French defender joins our team on loan for the 2026/27 season.
Born in Paris in 2006, Zague joined the Paris Saint-Germain academy at the age of just 13, having previously played for AJN Bagnolet and Paris FC. He progressed through all the youth ranks at PSG before making his first-team debut in 2024 in Ligue 1.
The 20-year-old right back has already gained significant experience at the senior level. With Paris Saint-Germain’s first team, he made 11 appearances, gaining the opportunity to compete at the highest level of European soccer.
Zague then continued his career at FC Copenhagen, where he made 15 appearances across all competitions, scoring two goals and providing one assist. His time in Denmark also provided him with valuable experience in European competitions and the UEFA Champions League.
At the national team level, Zague has represented France at the U17, U18, and U19 levels, establishing himself among the rising stars of French soccer.
Despite his young age, Zague already boasts a particularly impressive track record, having won major domestic titles during his time at Paris Saint-Germain.
With experience in Ligue 1, the UEFA Champions League, and European club competitions—and having emerged from one of Europe’s top soccer academies— Zague arrives in Paphos combining impressive high-level performances with significant potential for further development.
Paphos FC welcomes Yoram Zague and wishes him every success in our team’s jersey.”
