More to come shortly…
The announcement: “NK Varaždin and APOEL have reached an agreement on the transfer of goalkeeper and captain Oliver Zelenika, who will continue his career in Cyprus after more than six years in Varaždin.
ΣΧΕΤΙΚΑ ΑΡΘΡΑ
He made 157 appearances for Varaždin and served as captain for two years, though his contribution to our club goes far beyond the numbers.
Throughout those years, he was a leading figure in the locker room, experiencing both Varaždin’s most difficult moments and its greatest successes. As captain, he led the team to two consecutive qualifications for European competitions and to a historic third-place finish, leaving an indelible mark on our club’s history.
Thank you for everything, dear Zeki, and we wish you every success in this new chapter of your career.”
