It was… well, it’s now official!
Thomas Kaminski is officially an Omonia player. The “Greens” announced the signing of the 33-year-old Belgian, who—along with Fabiano—will likely form the top goalkeeper duo in Cyprus. The agreement calls for a one-year loan with an option to purchase for an additional two-year contract
The announcement: “We have reached an agreement with Charlton for the transfer of Thomas Kaminski to OMONIA!
Thomas Kaminski is from Belgium, is 33 years old, and plays as a goalkeeper. He has played for all of Belgium’s national teams, from the U-15s up to the men’s national team.
The agreement calls for a one-year loan with an option to purchase a two-year contract.
Over the past year, he played in the Championship for Charlton (37 appearances). He has been playing in England since 2020 and has appeared in a total of 240 matches, with his highlight being the season he spent with Luton in the Premier League; he also played for Blackburn. He spent much of his career in his home country playing for KV Kortrijk, KAA Gent, and RSV Anderlecht, and also played in Denmark for Copenhagen and in Cyprus for Anorthosis.
