AEL has officially announced the signing of João Tavares.

The Portuguese midfielder signed a contract through 2027 and will remain in Cyprus for another season; as a reminder, he made 26 appearances for Olympiacos last year.

The announcement: “AEL FC LTD announces an agreement with Portuguese soccer player João Tavares (12/12/1998), who has signed a contract with our team through 2027.

We welcome the player to the big family of the Limassol Athletic Union and wish him every success in the blue-and-yellow jersey.”
