OFH bolsters its roster with Kenan Kontra. The Cretans have finalized the signing of the 33-year-old forward from Ferencváros. The Bosnian has been in Heraklion since Friday afternoon, underwent the necessary medical exams, and signed his contract. OFI announced a one-year loan from the Hungarian club, but in essence, this is a two-year deal; After next summer, when his contract with Ferencváros expires, the agreement between the Cup champions and the experienced star will take effect, extending their partnership through 2028.

The international forward for the Bosnian national team (15 appearances, 2 goals), was born on August 19, 1993, and has experience in European competitions, having made 8 appearances (5 goals) in the Europa League with FC Copenhagen and 5 appearances (3 goals, 1 assist) in the Conference League.
In the recently concluded season (2025–26), he played in 34 matches (8 goals) for Real Zaragoza while on loan from Ferencváros TC, and he recorded 22 appearances and 2 goals for the Hungarian club.
He was Gaziantep FK’s top scorer in the Turkish Cup with 6 goals in 5 matches (2024–25), and in his career to date, he has won two league titles (2024, 2019) and one Super Cup (2021).
