Odysseas Vlachodimos remains in Spain and Seville.

The Andalusian club announced the Greek goalkeeper’s new loan from Newcastle, confirming reports from the past few days.

The 32-year-old goalkeeper, who had also been rumored to be returning to Panathinaikos (which filled the vacancy with Iñaki Peña from Barcelona), was pleased with his time with the La Liga team, where he made 34 appearances last season.

Realizing that he was unlikely to secure a spot on the English club’s roster for the new season, he signed a contract extension for his loan to Sevilla.
