Christopher Nkunku is preparing to return to Leipzig, as the German club has reached an agreement with Milan to sign him on loan.
The two clubs have reached an agreement on the transfer of the French attacking midfielder, with Leipzig paying 3 million euros as a “loan fee.”
The agreement, however, is not limited to the temporary nature of the transfer. The deal also includes a purchase option, which gives Leipzig the option to sign Enkounkou permanently.
Buyout
clause exceeds 25 million euros According to Sky Sport, the buyout clause is slightly over 25 million euros, though it does not reach 30 million euros.
This is a deal that allows Leipzig to immediately strengthen its midfield without having to make a particularly large investment at this time.
At the same time, the German club retains the option to make Christopher Nkunku’s return permanent, provided the player performs at the level the Bundesliga is well acquainted with.
