The Greek Cup final will return to the Olympic Stadium, as decided today by the Professional Football Committee at its meeting.
In fact, the date of the final has also been announced, with the Hellenic Football Federation (EPO) setting it for May 22.
We remind you that last year’s final was held at Panthessaliko Stadium, with OFI winning the trophy.
In addition to this, other decisions were made.
The tournament will feature 16 teams, and each team must include two young Greek players born after 2004 in their starting lineup. Yellow card suspensions from the semifinals will not carry over to the final.
Among other things, there have been discussions about introducing a similar rule regarding the use of young players in the league as well.
