Kaan Kairinen is set to don the yellow and black, with AEK just a breath away from finalizing his transfer from Sparta Prague.

The 27-year-old left-footed Finnish international midfielder is expected to arrive in Greece today, Sunday (July 6), or tomorrow at the latest, in order to undergo the necessary medical and fitness tests and finalize his transfer to AEK.

If all goes smoothly, the experienced midfielder will sign his contract and be announced by AEK, fulfilling the plans of Javier Ribalta and Marko Nikolić to strengthen the midfield.

In fact, he will not remain in Athens, as immediately after his transfer is finalized, he will travel to the Netherlands to join the team’s preseason training and make himself available to the Serbian coach.
