A report on the Italian website toro.it links Alberto Paleari to AEK.
Specifically, the 34-year-old goalkeeper is no longer in Torino’s plans and is expected to leave after two years; according to the report, he will head to Cyprus to play for the Larnaca team.
Throughout his career, Paleari has played only for Italian clubs, having come up through the Milan youth academy without making an appearance for the first team, and has played successively for Ponte San Pietro, Tritium, Virtus Verona, Mantova, Gianna Ermino, Cittadella, Genoa, and Benevento.
It should be noted that last season he made 29 appearances in Serie A and three in the Cup.
The report states: “There is no room on the roster for the 34-year-old Torino goalkeeper, and a move to AEK Larnaca in Cyprus is now in the works.
These developments concern player departures from Torino; although the transfer window for signings closed yesterday at 8:00 p.m., in some other countries, the transfer windows remain open, allowing for further deals to be struck—deals that may involve specific Torino players.
Alberto Paleari is the player set to leave the “Granata” squad. With the arrivals of Peri and Mascardi, all goalkeeper positions have been filled, especially since Siviero has remained with the team and will retain his role as the third-string goalkeeper. Consequently, Pagliari is set to travel to Cyprus to join AEK Larnaca.”
