A late-night transfer bombshell from Panathinaikos! According to renowned Hoopshype reporter Michael Scotto, the “Greens” have reached an agreement with Gerson Jabousele!

As reported, the French power forward has decided to leave the NBA and join the “clover” to continue his career, and is expected to become one of the three highest-paid players in Europe!

As a reminder, Yabusele became a free agent after being released by the Bulls, where he had been playing since February as part of a trade with the Knicks. Thus, the 30-year-old forward is returning to Europe after two seasons on the other side of the Atlantic, where he played in Philadelphia, New York, and Chicago, averaging 8.3 points per game.

It is worth noting that, according to Skoto, the veteran Frenchman is expected to sign a three-year contract with the “Greens,” where he will be reunited with, among others, his good friend, Mathias Le Sor.

Thus, Panathinaikos is expected to fill the “5” position in the best possible way, with a player who can also play the “4,” while possessing the qualities that Zeljko Obradovic was seeking to complete the trio of centers.

If this signing goes through, Yabusele will be the “clover’s” fourth addition this summer, following Bonga, Bandio, and Fall.
