Christos Tzolis’s injury on Thursday night during Greece’s 2-2 draw against the Netherlands in the third matchday of the Nations League forced Ivan Jovanović to make a change to the available roster for the final match of this series.

Dimitris Pelkas was called up to the national team for the second match against Germany following the historic 1-0 victory by the “blue-and-whites” in Augsburg, and the PAOK winger will be available for Sunday’s match at Toumba.

Pelka’s most recent of his 47 total appearances in the Greek national team jersey lasted 7 minutes, on September 8, 2025, in a 3-0 loss to Denmark at the “G. Karaiskakis” Stadium during this past summer’s World Cup qualifiers.
