Fan interest in the Greek national team’s two big matches at Toumba against the Netherlands and Germany is enormous. Ticket sales began on Monday, September 28, and demand has been impressive from the very start, as the waiting list for the two games has already exceeded 100,000.
Given these figures, both matches are now expected to sell out at any moment. The national team returns to Thessaloniki having raised high expectations following its away victories against Serbia and Germany, with fans actively showing their willingness to stand behind Ivan Jovanović’s national team.
Greece will first host the Netherlands on Thursday, October 1, at 9:45 p.m., and three days later, on Sunday, October 4, at the same time, it will host Germany. These are two of the most important matches in the “blue-and-whites’” campaign in League A of the UEFA Nations League.
