The Greek national team put its impressive 2-1 victory over Serbia in Belgrade behind it, thanks to Tasos Douvikas’ goal in stoppage time, and immediately turned its attention to its next match.
The “blue-and-whites” got off to the best possible start in League A of the Nations League, and now the focus shifts to what comes next.
The international players who did not play in the match against Serbia or who came on as substitutes trained this morning on a practice field at “Raiko Mitic.” The rest of the players followed a recovery program at the hotel to get the rest they needed after the grueling match.
The Greek delegation departs this afternoon, with the flight to Germany scheduled for 6:00 p.m. The big double victory in Belgrade is now a thing of the past, and the national team is already fully focused on its upcoming matches.
