Our men’s national team held its first training session in preparation for the match against Latvia on Saturday afternoon (October 3).
The session took place at the GSP facilities. The players who competed against Armenia followed a recovery program, while the rest trained as usual.
With morale and confidence at an all-time high, our team’s players are preparing for yet another difficult match—their fourth in quick succession—aiming for their second victory in the tournament.
All players are available, except for Kostas Pileas, who received a red card in the match against Armenia.
The Cyprus–Latvia match will take place next Monday (October 5) at 7:00 p.m. at GSP Stadium.
Preparation will conclude on Sunday with a training session at 5:00 p.m. at the GSP Stadium. This will be preceded at 4:15 p.m. by a press conference with coach Apostolos Mantzios, attended by a player.
