“I don’t like the words people are using… Nightmare, disaster—those are for others. They’re not for me or what I stand for. Maybe they’re for you—I don’t know who they’re for, but not for me,” he initially told the ERT camera.
“We were completely unprepared for this; we’re all responsible for that. The players came completely unprepared, without any training, in very poor condition. Above all, we’re all responsible, each of us for our own part. Everyone needs to think about what we stand for and which team we play for. It was as if we’d just come back from vacation,” added the coach of the “blue-and-whites.”
