Apollon’s press officer, Fanourios Konstantinou, spoke to “Super Sport 104.0” about the latest news regarding the Limassol-based team.
He discussed the team’s preseason preparations, denied that Stefan Jovetić had been linked to the “blue and whites,” confirmed interest in Allen Ozbolt, who is expected to be announced soon, and emphasized how important the first European matches are.

Here are his comments in detail
On the departure: “On Thursday, we’re leaving Paphos for the Netherlands, and we’ll stay there until July 13. We’ll play three friendly matches: on July 4 against Roda, on July 7 against Utrecht—which will be televised—and on July 11 against Go Ahead Eagles.”
On transfers: “When we have something to announce, we’ll do so.”
On Jovetić: “He has never been offered to us.”
On season tickets: “We’re close to 2,000. Season tickets are very important for any team. The financial landscape has changed, and revenue is very important.”
On new signings: “We still want four more signings: a center back, a winger, and two forwards.”
On the flight to the European match: “There are daily flights. We won’t be chartering a plane.”
On scouting the opposing team: “A member of our coaching staff will be there to watch the match.”
On Ozbolt: “He’s an exceptional soccer player who has been on our radar for quite some time.”
On the European matches: “We have two very big finals on July 18 and 23. We’re not thinking about anything else. There are no favorites or underdogs.”
On the young players: “There are quite a few young players who will make it to the first team. That’s a clear directive from the president.”
